The 90mm Maksutov-Cassegrain Telescope combines a compact, lightweight optical-tube design with a long 1250 millimeter focal length and a 9-centimeter objective lens diameter. Designed for sharp, high-contrast planetary observation, the Maksutov-Cassegrain optical system uses a meniscus-shaped corrector plate and a borosilicate primary mirror with an aluminum coating and quartz overcoat.
